Change of Major

All matriculated students must officially declare a major by their thirty (30) credits mark. Financial Aid will not cover students in the undeclared major beyond the thirty credits.

The Change of Major (COM)/Change of Academic Plan (COAP) is a fully online process. Students must meet with their academic advisor to discuss degree requirements and initiate the COM/COAP process.

To streamline this process for all of our students, academic advisors will submit official COM/COAP requests to the Registrar’s Office at with the following information:

Please include the student’s name and desired major/plan in the subject (ex. Joe Doe- Change of Major or COM to BSN) line of your email.
