Instructions for Purchasing Your Cap and Gown

• Go to https://collegegrad.herffjones.com
• Type in Medgar Evers College
• A window will pop up – under search results you will see Medgar Evers College CUNY
• Click on Medgar Evers College CUNY
• On the next page that pops up Click on the drop-down menu and select your degree type (Bachelors, Associates, or LPN – Licensed Practical Nurse)

ASSOCIATE DEGREE:

• If you select associate degree, it will take you directly to the order page.
  Note that all associate degree students wear the same color hood. The system is populated with this information, so you do not have to worry.
• On the order page Click on the tap that says CAP & GOWN
• On the next page that pops up make your selection accordingly
  Associate degree students need to purchase the complete package for $ 57.00. The complete package includes your cap, gown, hood, and tassel.
• After making your cap and gown selection complete all other requested information such as name, height, weight etc. and complete your checkout process.
  Note that the length and size of your gown will be based on the height and weight you submit; the gown is meant to be free flowing and not fitted.

BACHELOR DEGREE:

• If you select bachelor’s degree, it will take you directly to the order page.
• On the order page Click on the tab that says Cap & Gown
• On the next page that pops up make your selection accordingly based on what you need
  If you walked with your associate degree in the past and have your cap and gown, you only need to purchase a hood and tassel. For bachelor’s degree students your hood color will vary according to your major/area of study. The system is populated with hood colors based on your major, so you do not have to worry.
• On the next page that pops up, select your major or area of study.
• Complete all other requested information such as height, weight etc. and complete your checkout process.
  Note that the length and size of your gown will be based on the height and weight you submit; the gown is meant to be free flowing and not fitted.

LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE (LPN)

• If you select LPN, it will take you directly to the order page.
  Note that all LPN students do not wear a hood.
• On the order page Click on the tap that says Cap & Gown
• On the next page that pops up make your selection accordingly
  LPN students need to purchase the package for $ 31.00. This package includes your cap, gown, and tassel.
• After making your cap and gown selection complete all other requested information such as name, height weight etc. and complete your checkout process.
  Note that the length and size of your gown will be based on the height and weight you submit; the gown is meant to be free flowing and not fitted.
