We are excited to have you celebrate our graduates with us.
Guest Admit Tickets
The 2024 Spring Commencement at Medgar Evers College will be held at Coney Island Amphitheater. Guest Admit tickets are required for everyone entering the venue, without exception. Each graduate will be given five (5) tickets for guests. Students will receive guest tickets during one of the scheduled Graduate Briefings. Please note that the number of guest tickets is based on the maximum legal capacity of the facility and the number of graduating candidates.
All guests must present a Guest Admit Ticket for scanning to be admitted into an indoor ceremony. Every person must have a Guest Admit Ticket regardless of age (this includes infants & children). Seats are first-come, first-serve.
Commencement Live Stream
A live stream of the ceremony will be accessible via the Medgar Evers College’s Commencement page to accommodate those family members and friends who exceed the number of Guest Admit Tickets available.
Parking
There will be two parking lots available for graduates and guests:
- 3050 W 21st Street, Brooklyn, NY 11224, with access on 22nd Street and Surf Ave, directly behind the venue.
- 1904 Surf Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11224. The 2nd overflow lot is a couple of blocks away at the baseball stadium with a direct path to the venue entrance from the boardwalk. The Theater has attendants directing people once the first lot fills up.
There is a fee of $13 for all parking and it is on a first-come, first-serve basis.
