Graduate Information

The Office of Student Life & Development along with the SGA Senior Class are honored to be a part of your graduation celebration. Now that you have filed for graduation, our office will be communicating information regarding cap and gown, portraits, Kente cloth stoles, class rings, and graduation activities as we prepare for the Class of 2026 Graduation on May 29, 2026. Join us for Spring 2026 Graduate Salute!! Please pay careful attention to the information coming soon as it pertains to August/Summer, Fall, and Winter graduates and students who have filed for graduation and expect to graduate at the end of Spring 2026 semester. You will also receive periodic updates from Student Life regarding the above-mentioned items.

Graduate’s Briefing

You must attend and complete a graduate briefing to receive graduation tickets for your guests to attend the graduation ceremony. All briefings will be held in the Founders Auditorium.

Frequently Asked Questions

Graduates must attend a briefing to receive their tickets. Each graduate will receive five (5) tickets. All guests must have a ticket to enter the venue. Infants and small children must have a ticket, as well.

There will be two parking lots available for graduates and guests:

  • 3050 W 21st Street, Brooklyn, NY 11224, with access on 22nd Street and Surf Ave, directly behind the venue.
  • 1904 Surf Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11224. The 2nd overflow lot is a couple of blocks away at the baseball stadium with a direct path to the venue entrance from the boardwalk. The Theater has attendants directing people once the first lot fills up.

There is a fee of $13 for all parking and it is on a first-come, first-served basis.
