NYC Abortion Access Hub
Looking for abortion services or support? The NYC Abortion Access Hub offers confidential help with finding a provider, booking appointments, and even accessing financial help, transportation, or lodging. You don’t need to live in NYC or share personal information.

A friendly staff member will ask you a few simple questions to help connect you with the right services: how far along you are, where you’d like to go, and if you need any extra help like insurance info, financial support, or travel assistance. Interpretation services are also available!
On-Campus Health Services at MEC
Each semester, the Office of Health Services promotes healthy living with workshops, events, and resources that address issues that matter to you. From blood drives to LGBTQ+ support to mental and physical wellness screenings, we’re here to help you take care of yourself.

Project Street Beat (by PPGNY)
Project Street Beat provides free and low-cost healthcare services right here in Brooklyn through a mobile health center and telehealth options.
Services include:
- Birth control (pill, IUD, implant, etc.)
- STI and HIV testing
- Emergency contraception
- Pregnancy testing & medication abortion
- PrEP/PEP (HIV prevention)
- Gynecological care & Pap smears
- Narcan, syringes, & safe injection supplies
- Free condoms

Community Resources
Caribbean Women’s Health Association
This community-based program offers support for pregnant and postpartum women, plus free parenting workshops and doula services.
What they offer:
- Virtual doula support (pregnancy & postpartum)
- Breastfeeding and safe sleep workshops
- Parenting classes (ages newborn–3 yrs)
- Immigration/legal assistance (green cards, citizenship, DACA)
- HIV prevention education, home testing kits, and virtual support groups

Mother-Baby Mobile Clinic
The Mother-Baby Mobile Clinic offers free or low-cost support for pregnant individuals, new parents, and their babies. Services include prenatal and postnatal care, infant wellness checks, breastfeeding support, and parenting guidance. The clinic travels throughout Brooklyn and offers services in both English and Spanish.

Need coverage? Several plans may offer free or low-cost insurance based on your income—even if you’re not eligible for Medicaid.
United Healthcare
You may qualify for the Essential Plan if your income is under $52,400/year. This is a great option for those who don’t qualify for Medicaid or Child Health Plus.
