English Profiency
All non-native English speakers are required to demonstrate English proficiency for full admission to their degree programs.
The Office of Admissions does not require students to submit an SAT and ACT for admissions to Medgar Evers College but will accept them if submitted.
To be eligible for admissions, students must attain the following TOEFL: Paper-based 470; Computer Based (CBT) 150; Internet Based (IBT) 52.
You must submit a completed I-20 form along with supporting financial documents to the address below.

To apply for F-1 Visa students must: first submit an I-20 application; and once approved, the Designated School Official (DSO) will issue the I-20 and all instructions to pay the SEVIS fee and how to obtain an appointment with the United States Consular for their F-1 Visa.
F-1 visa students are not eligible for financial aid but are eligible to participate in the CUNY Tuition Payment Plan. International students can also seek tuition assistants by applying for scholarships and grants outside of the college community. The SEVIS processing fee is $200.00. But students must first submit I-20 Form. Students must receive their I-20 before paying the SEVIS fee.
