To become an International Student at Medgar Evers College you first have to complete an application at www.cuny.edu/apply and submit the application with your academic records. Payment can be made online (credit or debit card) or with a bank money order(made out to University Application Processing Center or UAPC) mailed to the address listed on the application. To enter Medgar Evers College for the spring semester (January through May) the application deadline is October 1st, for the fall semester (August through December) the application deadline is February 1st.

You will need to request official transcripts from your secondary/high school and /or university which lists all courses taken and grades earned. If you have completed exams such as GCE’s, CXC’s, West African examination Council (WAEC) and SAT’S.

Note: TOEFL and ILETS examinations results are needed for students coming from countries where English is not their primary language.

There is no tuition or financial assistance (such as financial aid) available for international students. It is necessary for you to make arrangements to ensure that you are able to meet all the required financial obligation should you decide to pursue an education here in the United States.
