AB1 Building will be temporarily offline on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, due to freezing temperatures causing the sprinkler to malfunction resulting in flooding from the third floor to the basement. All classes scheduled in the AB1 Building will be held remotely. All other buildings are open for regular operations. For students enrolled in AB1-building classes who need access for their remote instruction, there are computers available in the computer labs that will enable you to logon to your class.

Transfer Students

Transfer Students account for nearly half of enrollment at MEC. Transfer students are transitioned smoothly into their program of study, with a thoroughly vetted credit evaluation, performed by the Office of Admissions. Students can then RSVP with their prospective Academic Advisor for a robust advising session. Our goal in the Academic Advising Center is to provide a positive experience to our students from inception to execution by ensuring that they are equipped with the tools needed to be successful at MEC.
