About SEEK

The Percy Ellis Sutton Search for Education, Elevation, and Knowledge (SEEK) is a New York State-funded program founded in 1965 and designed to meet the needs of students who are considered economically disadvantaged and academically unprepared.

The SEEK program is offered at senior (four-year) CUNY colleges to New York State residents who do not meet traditional admissions criteria but demonstrate potential for academic success. SEEK gives students up to five years of academic support and supplementary financial assistance to ensure they are supported throughout their matriculation. Students can pursue ANY major at the baccalaureate or associate level to be in the SEEK program.

SEEK Benefits
