Description

The Physics Minor takes you beyond basic science and dives into the high-level theories that define the modern world. You will explore how light and electricity work together and study the “new” physics that explains how atoms behave.

What you will study:

  • Modern Physics & Electromagnetism: Learn the core theories that powered the invention of everything from lasers to smartphones.
  • Customized Learning: You can choose your electives based on your interests—whether that is building circuits in Electronics, exploring the stars in Astrophysics, or using computers to solve complex problems in Scientific Programming.
  • Critical Thinking: Physics teaches you how to break down big, messy problems into small, solvable parts—a skill that every employer wants!
