Program Overview

Lead Every Learner—100% Online

Do you want to be the kind of teacher who makes sure every student feels included and supported? Our B.A. in Childhood Special Education is now available 100% online. This program focuses on helping children in Grades 1–6 who have unique learning needs.

The best part? You will earn two certifications at once: one in General Education and one in Special Education. This makes you a “dual-certified” teacher, meaning you are prepared to lead any elementary classroom in public, private, or charter schools. You get the flexibility of online learning while becoming a powerful advocate for all children.

  • General Education Teacher: Teaching a standard 1st–6th grade class with the extra skills to help every child succeed.
  • Learning Specialist: Helping students improve their reading or math skills in a “Resource Room.”
  • School Leader: Moving into roles like Principal or Assistant Principal in the future.

What You’ll Learn:

  • Proven Teaching Methods: How to explain difficult topics so that every student “gets it.”
  • Support & Advocacy: How to stand up for your students and make sure they get the help they deserve.
  • Classroom Management: How to create a safe, fun, and organized place to learn online or in person.
