Quench Goes to the Movies

In partnership with Queer Voices NYC, the Medgar Evers College LGBTQIA+ Advisory Council is organizing dinner and a film screening. For this year’s theme, Women Who Advocate for Equity, Diversity and Inclusion, we plan on featuring a film about Sylvia Rivera, and having a moderated conversation. Rooted in social justice and equity, QVNYC celebrates LGBTQIA+ filmmakers of color from around the world and across all 5 Boroughs of New York City, and aims to empower artists and audiences alike through their exceptional catalog of films, live panels, and talkbacks.
