AB1 Building will be temporarily offline on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, due to freezing temperatures causing the sprinkler to malfunction resulting in flooding from the third floor to the basement. All classes scheduled in the AB1 Building will be held remotely. All other buildings are open for regular operations. For students enrolled in AB1-building classes who need access for their remote instruction, there are computers available in the computer labs that will enable you to logon to your class.

THEY DID IT AGAIN! Medgar Evers College men’s outdoor track team wins CUNYAC title for first time!

This is what history looks like.

Again.

On Saturday afternoon at the picturesque Icahn Stadium on Randall’s Island, the Medgar Evers College men’s outdoor track team captured the 2024 CUNYAC Conference Championship — for the first time in school history.

It’s also a breakthrough moment for the men’s team, as the program had finished second eight times, the last time coming in 2013.

The Medgar Evers College women’s outdoor track team finished second, their highest placement since also finishing runner-up in 2009.

The men’s title come just months after both Medgar Evers College indoor track squads swept the conference titles, the men for the first time and women breaking a 20-year drought.

Medgar Evers College also picked up both individual MVP trophies, with Desireth Ramirez winning the women’s title and Jahiem Johnson taking the men’s crown.
