AB1 Building will be temporarily offline on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, due to freezing temperatures causing the sprinkler to malfunction resulting in flooding from the third floor to the basement. All classes scheduled in the AB1 Building will be held remotely. All other buildings are open for regular operations. For students enrolled in AB1-building classes who need access for their remote instruction, there are computers available in the computer labs that will enable you to logon to your class.

The Battle For Bedford Continues! (Donate Canned Food by Monday, December 17!)

The fight for campus bragging rights between Medgar Evers College and Brooklyn College began a month ago. Continue to join us now through spring 2019 for a challenge the likes of which you have never seen.

We started with benevolence, so as a reminder, here’s how it works:

Donate canned goods or other non-perishable food items at the Office of Student Affairs (room S-306) until the close of business on Monday, December 17. These items will be counted and distributed to the Rachel’s House shelter for the holidays. You may also call the office at x6046 and request a pickup from your on campus location.

On January 2, 2019, agree to donate your skills and abilities to two epic showdowns of brains and brawn that will take place in February and April, respectively. And then, in May, come witness the Brains x Brawn x Benevolence points be tallied, and watch the winner Medgar Evers College take the crown.

Detailed information regarding the Battle for Bedford will be disseminated on a rolling basis. Stay tuned.
