Tech Company Collaborates With MEC

Tech manufacturer Nanotronics, which recently expanded its presence at the Brooklyn Navy Yard, is teaming up with Medgar Evers College to create internships and develop professional workshops for students. Founded in 2010, Nanotronics is a nanotechnology company that develops hardware and software products that combine microscopic imaging and artificial intelligence (AI). The Office of Career Management Services, faculty from the School of Business, and the School of Science Health and Technology recently met with the company to discuss the partnership.

As a part of the collaboration, paid internships and professional development workshops will be available for students this fall. Additionally, fall workshops on interviewing skills, branding, and resume building will be led by Nanotronics staff. Moving forward, the collaboration will also create opportunities for mentoring and student research projects.
