Description
Choosing a Minor in Mathematics means you are adding a powerful advantage to your degree.
- Solve Tougher Problems: You will learn how to apply high-level math concepts to your major. For example, if you’re a Biology major, you can use advanced math to understand complex disease models.

Minor
Requirements
Students must complete the following four (4) courses or 12 credits, in addition to another three (3) credits taken under advisement by a faculty advisor
Required Core Courses (12 Credits)
- Foundation Core: MTH 205 (Elementary Differential Equations), MTH 207 (Linear Algebra I)
- Upper-Level Core Choice: Complete at least 1 of the following: MTH 204, MTH 206, MTH 237
Elective Course (3 Credits)
Students must complete 3 credits from an approved Math elective course.
