AB1 Building will be temporarily offline on Monday, February 9, 2026, due to freezing temperatures causing the sprinkler to malfunction resulting in flooding from the third floor to the basement. All classes scheduled in the AB1 Building will be held remotely. All other buildings are open for regular operations. For students enrolled in AB1-building classes who need access for their remote instruction, there are computers available in the computer labs that will enable you to logon to your class.

Minor

Description

The Minor in Marketing bridges the gap between creativity and data. You will move beyond just “seeing ads” to understanding the psychology of why people buy and how global brands maintain their influence.

Core areas of study include:

  • Consumer Behavior: Dive into the psychology behind purchasing decisions and brand loyalty.
  • Digital Strategy: Learn how to navigate the world of social media marketing, SEO, and online advertising.
  • Market Research: Gain the skills to analyze trends and use data to predict what the “next big thing” will be.
  • Strategic Branding: Learn how to build a professional identity for products, services, or even yourself.

By adding a Marketing minor, you demonstrate to future employers that you understand the bottom line and know how to communicate value in a competitive global economy.
