If you’re interested in numbers, problem-solving, and understanding how businesses work, the Department of Accounting at Medgar Evers College is the place for you. Graduates are prepared for careers in public and private accounting, government, nonprofits, or to start their own business.

This bachelor degree provides the foundational knowledge and critical perspective necessary for accounting roles.

Academic Standards: Students in the Department of Accounting are expected to pass the required Accounting Core courses with a grade of “C” or better. For graduation, a student must have a GPA of 2.0.
