Flexible Summer Sessions 

Medgar Evers College offers two summer sessions that provide scheduling flexibility and convenience. Our CUNY Global Search Tool makes it easy to find the class you want, at the time you need. You can even search for courses with zero textbook costs.

Our Summer Session tuition is a fraction of the cost of private universities. Financial aid is available for those who qualify. Contact our Office of Financial Aid to see if you are eligible.

1Students who live in NY State but do not live in New York City may be eligible for the same tuition as NYC resident. To pay NYC tuition, you must submit a Certificate of Residency Form from the Bursars Office by a specified date.

  2. GET APPROVED Get your MEC Summer courses evaluated and approved by the appropriate department at your home college prior to registration. You can find course descriptions needed for evaluation in our Course Catalog.
  3. APPLY Submit your visiting student application to the college!
  4. REGISTEROnce your application is reviewed and approved, you will be ready to register for your classes. Registration is online through our CUNYfirst system.
