MEC Took Over the Parkway at the West Indian Day Parade

At this year’s West Indian Day Parade, Medgar Evers College was front and center amid the music, costumes and flags that adorn this joyous cultural event. Presiding over the MEC float whose theme is the school’s mantra, “Social Justice is in Our DNA,” was MEC president, Dr. Patricia Ramsey was also joined by Dr. Evelyn Castro, MEC’s Dean of the School of Professional and Community Development.
