CHAMPIONS!! Medgar Evers College wins men’s and women’s CUNYAC indoor track titles

Please join us in congratulating our men’s and women’s indoor track & field teams for capturing the 2023-24 CUNYAC Championship titles on Sunday at the historic Nike Track & Field Center at the Armory!

The victories are historic, as the men’s team won the crown for the first time and it was the women’s first conference title in 20 seasons.

It was also Medgar Evers College’s first championship in any sport since February 26, 2011, when the men’s basketball team captured the conference crown.

“It is so gratifying to see the men make history, and witness the women squash a 20-year drought. These incredible accomplishments served as the icing on the cake for what was already an amazing indoor campaign,” said Hugh Reid, the program’s head coach.
