Black History Awards Breakfast to Be Held on Friday, February 24

Medgar Evers College President Dr. Patricia Ramsey to be among honorees

On Friday, February 24, the Greater New York Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a Black History Awards Breakfast at the Hard Rock Café located at 1501 Broadway in Times Square. Hundreds of business and civic leaders will be in attendance to honor the legacy of black lives that have truly impacted America.

Doors open at 8:30 a.m. with 1010 WINS news anchor Larry Mullins serving as the emcee for this event. New York City Mayor Eric Adams will be providing the keynote speech at 9:30 a.m.

Medgar Evers College President Dr. Patricia Ramsey will be among the five honorees being recognized at this event.

“I’m very humbled to be acknowledged with this award alongside such an esteemed roster of names,” Ramsey said.

The other honorees getting recognized on this day are Feniere James of Hello Fresh, Melva Miller of ABNY, Keia Clarke of the New York Liberty, and AJ Woodson, publisher and editor-in-chief of Black Westchester Magazine, who will also be receiving the Bill McCreary Legend Award.
