About the Panelists
Guest: Julio Muñoz
Julio Muñoz is an engineering manager at Square, Inc., and he serves as the LatinXERG Bay Area Chair. He has over 15 years of experience designing electronic devices in different industries such as automotive, lighting, health, wearables, agri-tech, and most recently in fintech. He enjoys creating and designing new devices that solve our common problems, and this work has culminated in obtaining patents. From 2012 to 2014, he was the founder and CEO of his own startup, Wisemx, which was a deeply rewarding experience. He enjoys playing soccer as center back on his adult soccer league team in the Bay Area.
Guest: Agustina Perez Blua
Agustina Perez Blua is associate manager at Nielsen Client Services Google Partnership team at Nielsen. She was born and raised in Buenos Aires and has been living in the U.S. for just over 12 years. She graduated from Gonzaga University in 2019 with a bachelor’s degree in business administrations with concentrations in international business and marketing, and minors in public relations and leadership studies. She joined Nielsen after graduating from college and started in the Emerging Leaders Program, from which she graduated. She is now part of the Nielsen Client Services Google Partnership team. Outside of her day-to-day role, she leads the HOLA Northeast Chapter for Nielsen.
Guest: Alexandra G. Paty Diaz
Alexandra G. Paty Diaz is an associate urban designer and city planner with the Brooklyn Borough Office of the New York City Department of City Planning (DCP). Her work entails advocating for the use of participatory design to achieve social equity. Prior to DCP, she led the transformation of public spaces and developed urban policies in her hometown of Caracas, Venezuela. She is the co-founder and co-editor of “Transecto,” a Spanish language blog that aims to share urban topics and promote discussion about how we live in our cities. She was a 2018 Institute of Public Architecture fellow and 2020 Forefront Fellow from the Urban Design Forum. Alexandra holds a degree in architecture from Universidad Simón Bolívar, and she earned her Master of Science in Urban Planning from Columbia University.
