A Transition Academy Classic Soul Music Concert to Raise Funds for MEC Students
On Friday, May 12, a quintet of classic soul acts will come to together in a fundraiser for Medgar Evers College’s Transition Academy. The event will run from 5-10 p.m. at the Founders Auditorium located at 1650 Bedford Ave. in Crown Heights and will feature the talents of The Fellas (Temptation tribute), Encorz (Supremes tribute), classic R&B singer Black Cherry, classic R&B/Soul performers Bases Loaded and the legendary Gentlemen Walls
Ticket prices are $10 (Medgar Evers College students), $35 (faculty/staff), $45 (community). Half of the evening’s proceeds will go to Transition Academy students in need.
NOTE: All Medgar Evers College Students, Faculty, and Staff will be required to enter a valid EMPLID to purchase a ticket (limit one ticket) and show their Medgar Evers College ID at the door.
Tickets are non-refundable.
