2023 Inaugural Black Greek Basketball Invitational

On April 15, 2023, Medgar Evers College, Transition Academy, and The Department of Athletics & Intramurals will be hosting its Inaugural Black Greek Basketball Invitational. This event will feature members of three Black greek letter organization (BGLO)/fraternity teams and one team comprised of Medgar Evers College faculty and staff.
This basketball competition will be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The three-game tournament will be held at the gym located at 1150 Carroll Street, with a final game determining the champion.
After the game join us in the AB1 Dining Hall, located at 1638 Bedford Ave. for the After Game Mixer from 5 p.m. -9 p.m.

The Transition Academy at Medgar Evers College was established to help students navigate through the complex process of the homeless system and work on streamlining the search for adequate housing. Services include a food pantry, food vouchers, transportation to school, counseling referrals, SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) applications and job placement.
This event is to raise money to support Medgar Evers College students who are faced with financial instability. We need your help to ensure that this basketball fundraiser is a success.
