The Workgroup on Advancing Social Justice and the Department of Public Administration presents:
“Deadly Work or Decent Work? The Africa-Middle East Workers Migration Lecture”
Rev. Dr. H.E. Princess Ocansey, the bestselling author of “Deadly Work or Decent Work?”,
raises the alarm on the atrocities of deadly work being suffered silently by poor African domestic workers working in some of the middle eastern countries. She is a world-renowned, multiple award-winning legal migration expert, and a co-founder of the High-Level Decent Work Coalition, formed during the UN Generation Equality Conference 2022, which includes several female heads of states and Vice Presidents –former and current. She is a member of the African Union Labour Migration Advisory Committee, representing the Diaspora African Forum.
