Dr. Strashimir (Mirko) Popvassilev Popvassilev
I was born and raised in Bulgaria, and got M.Sci. in math from Sofia Univ in 1992. I worked as a researcher there, then was a GTA at Auburn University, AL, where from I got a Ph.D. in 2002. I have worked in Lafayette, LA, Gulfport, MS, and at CCNY and MEC CUNY. My area is general topology, and I like teaching and doing research in math.
