Zhoe also served as Discovery Guide Volunteer at Prospect Park Zoo, teaching visitors about ecology and conservation.

Currently, she is a member of the National Sorority of the Phi Delta Kappa Inc. (NSPDK Inc.) Theta Chapter, where she has aided the production and execution of various service events such as a community game night, sock and coat drive, and gift wrapping/donation event at a local church. In the fall, Zhoe will be attending Boston University with all expenses covered, as one of less than 2,000 students to win the distinguished Questbridge Scholarship. The four-year scholarship will be covering tuition, room and board, travel expenses, and books, amounting to more than $200,000. She will be majoring in Communications and Marine Biology.
