Welcome to the Office of Training & Staff Development: (OTSD)
The mission of the Office of Training and Staff Development (OTSD) is developing and organizing richly diverse training programs and workshops to meet the professional development needs of all Medgar Evers College employees.
During our first year of existence we offered an array of training programs such as: Computer courses, and Professional Development workshops which were well attended by the staff. The OTSD also designed specific workshops for various departments: College of Freshman Studies-Academic and Experiential Learning, Office of Admissions - Utilizing Microsoft Office Outlook in a more Efficient/Effective manner, and Customer Service for the Admissions/Recruitment Professional. We had over 200 of our staff members attend one or more of these training programs. We will continue to build on our success and contribute to your professional growth by offering numerous workshops.
