Mission Statement

The mission of Enrollment Management and Student Services is to operate, develop and facilitate effective and efficient programs and services directed toward integrating, involving and validating students to enable and empower them to be successful in their pursuit of self-improvement, self-actualization and intellectual development. Working in collaboration with Academic Affairs and other units of the College, services and programs are provided to support and assist students in achieving their academic, career and personal goals.

The mission of Enrollment Management and Student Services is congruent with the mission of the College which seeks to provide a learning environment in which all Medgar Evers College students may grow and develop to their fullest potential and become contributing members in the community and society. A focal point of all programs and services is to create a student-centered environment while promoting a sense of community among students, faculty and administration in order to enhance enrollment management.
