COPE

The College Opportunity to Prepare for Employment Program is a joint initiative of The City University of New York (CUNY) and the City of New York Human Resources Administration's Office of Employment Services (HRA, OES).

COPE is designed to assist public assistance recipients of Temporary Aid to Needy Families (TANF), who are pursuing vocationally oriented associate degrees.

COPE provides academic advisement and assistance throughout the registration process; individual counseling; case management services on an ongoing basis; employment assistance on a part or full time basis; and job readiness workshops.
