In School Youth

Funded by Title I of the Workforce Investment Act (WIA) of 1998, In-School Youth (ISY) employment programs focus on vocational training and education.
In-School Youth programs serve high school students in their junior and senior years.
Participants are prepared for high school graduation, college enrollment and to enter the adult work force. Services offered by In-School Youth Employment contractors include:

  • Tutoring in Math and English
  • Work readiness training including work place behavior and dress, resume writing and internship opportunities
  • Remain-in-school supports
  • Enrollment in Summer Youth Employment Program
  • Comprehensive supportive services
  • Mentoring

We also provide 1 year of follow-up service after graduation.
