Classes are offered weekly, beginning June 4 and ending August 31, 2007

The Four Full Day Leadership Certification Program is specifically designed for individuals currently serving in leadership positions; or, aspiring leaders of corporate, non-profit and community based organizations. The program offers official City University of New York certification in Public Administration, Leadership Development and Urban Planning.

With no prior knowledge required, the four-day program will prepare you to:

• examine leadership best practices;
• explore selected historical and contemporary models of leadership, comparing and contrasting various leadership styles;
• Understand the complexities related to leadership responsibility, credibility, ethics, power and privilege;
• assess management and planning strategies; and,
• Develop assessment tools to enhance effectiveness and efficiency of programs.

Medgar Evers College certification is awarded to students who successfully complete all four full day workshops.
