School of Professional and Community Development (SPCD)

The School of Professional and Community Development (SPCD) provides learning opportunities to enrich the academic, social, and professional development of youth and adults. The School seeks to improve and develop skills for career opportunities; enhance skills in preparation for promotional opportunities; provide basic skills in preparation for higher education; enhance the learning experiences of youth and young adults; and provide opportunities for youth and adults to become involved in their communities in order to respond to their needs.

Dr. Simone Rodriguez-Dorestant serves as Interim Dean for the School of Professional and Community Development. She has professional experience in academic and administrative administration for more than 15 years working with young adults and adults in higher education.
