1New York City Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation

The New York City Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation (NYC-LSAMP) in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) supports retention and graduation of minority students attending in various CUNY campuses. This program is funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF) and the City University of New York.
Minority students-Black, Hispanic, American Indian or Native Pacific Islander who have completed at least 60 college credits, majoring in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics with a minimum of 2.8 GPA and are U.S. citizens or Permanent Residents are eligible to apply for research assistantships. The amount of assistantship one student can receive ranges from $3,000.00 to $5,000.00, which depends on student’s class standing and credits earned.
