For past many the Medgar Evers College Environmental Science program has been organizing a day-long annual environmental issue conference at the college with support from a number of organizations. The conference includes keynote speeches, poster presentations, breakout sessions, vendor display of environmentally friendly products. The conference has been a great success with participation of the local community, corporate representatives, faculty and students.
