This award is established to recognize and appreciate individuals or organizations who have supported SSH&T programs, students and faculty to reach their career goals.
Constance Hill, MD., 2011 Constance H. Hill, MD is the Associate Dean for Minority Affairs at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. She is also oversees Early Medical Education Program of the center. Dr. Hill is the recipient of Dean’s 2011 appreciation award for her support and encouragement to Medgar Evers College (MEC) students in Downstate Medical center’s Early Education Program. Phillip Hew, MD, 2010
Dr. Philip Hew is the Director of Emergency Department at Brooklyn Jewish Hospital. Over the years he has mentored a number of Medgar Evers College Science Students and spoke at Dean’s Honor List Award ceremony as guest speaker. Dr. Hew is the recipient of Dean’s 2010 appreciation award for his support and outstanding mentoring Medgar Evers College students. L to R Provost Howard C. Noel Blackburn, 2009
Mr. Noel Blackburn is the Educational Programs Administrator at Brookhaven National Laboratory. He was instrumental to establish an agreement between BNL and MEC. He has been very supportive to MEC’s student interns and their MEC faculty mentors at the BNL He is the recipient of 2009 Dean’s Appreciation Award.
