Dean Dr. Patwary is in conversation with Dr. John Ruffin the Director of the National Institutes on Minority Health and Health Disparities (NIMHD) during a meeting in Washington D.C. Dr. Ruffin oversees NIMHD budget of approximately $209 million. Dr. Ruffin also provides leadership for the minority health and health disparities research activities of the National Institute of Health (NIH) whose annual budget is approx. 2.8 billion.
