Community Economic Development (CED) Project
 
This program is for anyone interested in starting a 501c3 nonprofit. It provides the structure and resources to make your nonprofit dream a reality and combines law, business concepts and social policies to enhance your ability to lead effectively.
 
Entry Requirements:  High School Diploma or High School Equivalency.
 
Full Program Tuition:  $495
(Does not include textbooks or state exams fees.)

Introduction to Starting a Nonprofit: Learn the legal process of starting a nonprofit, including the purpose of bylaws, board of directors and a mission statement. $195
 
Community-Building & Marketing Your Nonprofit: Learn to create a marketing campaign for nonprofits and execute a successful community outreach strategy. Learn how to create your own website and use social media for your nonprofit. $175
 
Writing a Business Plan: You will be guided through the process of preparing a business plan for your nonprofits or companies. To fulfill the fieldwork component of this capstone seminar you will present your new venture's business plan to an audience. $145
 
Grant Writing Clinic: Crafting a winning grant proposal is both an art and a science. Get tips on identifying and writing compelling grants to fund your non-profit’s activities. $80
