Public records are available for inspection and copying by appointment only on Monday - Friday between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
Your request must include the following information:
- A description of the file(s) that contains as much information about the file(s) as possible, such as names, title(s), date(s), and contents
- The manner in which you would like to receive the requested information, if your request is approved. In addition, please submit the appropriate forwarding information to comply with your request
- A contact number and name that will be accessible between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and5: 00 p.m., if additional information is needed to process your request

Appeal of the Denial of a FOIL Request
You have a right to appeal a denial of a request for access to records to the CUNY General Counsel and Vice Chancellor for Legal Affairs.
