Department of Nursing::Resources Available to Nursing Students


  1. The Charles Evans Inniss Memorial Library

    Nursing students are encouraged to use this resource to assist with assignments and as a supplement to lectures and skills sessions. The Library stores a plethora of healthcare knowledge resources in various formats: monographs, periodicals, audiovisual items, archival/special collection materials and electronic data, including reference sources, online databases and compact discs (CDs). Of special note is the Audio Visual Center of the library contains a wealth of nursing videos specific to all areas of the nursing curriculum.
  2. Tutorial sessions

    These are provided by Registered Nurse(s) to assist students with theory and practical skills.
  3. Dynamic state of the art nursing skills labs equipped with the most current simulation tools in the industry. See link to nursing skills labs in left column.
  4. Computer based ATI Nursing Education testing resources
  5. Department of Nursing computer lab. This lab is available exclusively to Medgar Evers nursing students.
