  1. What criteria must I meet to enter the BSN completion program?
  2. Must be a Registered Nurse in the state of New York
    Must have a physical completed by a physician. Candidate should also show immunity, recent vaccination or show absence for the following as relevant: Varicella, Hepatitis B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, DT Booster and Tuberculosis.

  3. How long is the program?
  4. The BSN completion may be done over a minimum of 4 regular semesters (2 years), but will be based on the students pace and starting credits (or transferable credits)

  5. What are the hours of the RN-BSN program?
  6. The class hours for the BSN completion program is primarily evenings and weekends.

  7. When do I apply for the BSN program?
  8. Students may apply for the BSN Completion program in any semester provided they have the required prerequisites. Application dates are consistent with Medgar Evers registration dates for each semester.

  9. Can I apply directly to the BSN program?

You may apply through the regular Medgar Evers application process and declare that your course of study will be Nursing BSN completion program through admissions.
