Associates of Applied Science (AAS) in Nursing
The Department of Nursing offers Associates in Applied Science (A.A.S.) Degree Program. The programs of study are designed to:
- Be a part of the three step career ladder in nursing education.
- Maintain academic excellence and encourage lifelong learning.
- Reflect the awareness of the holistic health care needs of the residents of Central Brooklyn and all of New York City.
- Ensure the graduate's readiness for entry into the rapidly changing inner city urban health care delivery system.
The AAS degree program is an afternoon\evening program with clinicals on Saturday and Sunday. At the end of this program you will be awarded an Associates of Applied Science in nursing degree. The student will also be eligible to sit the NCLEX examinations.
