St. John’s
University School of Law, Ron Brown Summer Law Program is now
accepting applications
In a time when minorities only account for 3% of the legal
profession, the most lucrative career of our time; and in a time
when minorities, as law school applicants are decreasing and their
acceptance rate is declining, Medgar Ever’s College Department of
Public Administration seeks to change that reality. Through a
partnership at “Ron Brown Summer Law Program” at St. John’s
University School of Law, low-income or first-generation college
students or members of an underrepresented group in law school have
a chance to make Law School a reality! As long as you have a
genuine interest in attending law school, we will prepare
you to become as competitive as the average law school applicant.
You will have the opportunity to take courses taught at the law
school by law professors, complete an internship with a Supreme
Court Judge and with one of the District Attorney’s Offices
throughout the five boroughs. You will also become eligible for a
free Law School Admission Test Prep Course (cost $1600), so that you
will be on the path of becoming future lawyers. Don’t miss this once
in a lifetime opportunity!
Tuition and materials are free and dormitory living space is
available. Student must have a grade point average of 3.0 or better,
have completed 45-75 credits as of June 2, 2008 are eligible. For
