Dear Colleague:

The New York City Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (NYC LSAMP) will be holding its Eleventh Annual Urban University Conference on Friday, April 11th and Saturday, April 12th, 2008 at the City College. The Urban University Conference Series 2008 will celebrate sixteen years of Alliance activities in the University and will include poster sessions by CUNY Research Scholars, a Best Practice Symposium, and a Graduate Education/Technology Expo with exhibitors from Academic, Industry and Agency settings.

The event will celebrate sixteen years of Alliance activities in the City University of New York and will include poster session and oral sessions by CUNY Research Scholars, a Best Practice Symposium, and a Graduate Education/Technology Expo with exhibitors from Academic, Industry and Agency settings.

The Student Research Conference scheduled for both Friday and Saturday (April 11 and 12) are excellent opportunities for students participating in undergraduate and graduate research to present their research findings. Please note that there is NO REGISTRATION fee for participation in the Urban University Conference Series.
