Gifts & Donations:
All donations must be directed to the appropriate discipline librarian (see Collection Development Contacts.) If a particular discipline cannot be assigned, the person donating the collection will be referred to the Chair of the Collection Development Committee.
Before delivering materials to the Library, donors must submit a list of the items that includes the author, title, date of publication, publisher, and condition of each donation. A librarian will review the list and then contact the donor regarding whether the material will be accepted or not.
Once accepted, a letter of acknowledgment will be sent noting the number of books donated. The Library will not assign a value to the donation.
The Library reserves the right to use the material, sell or dispose of it in any way that it determines is appropriate.
