MINOR IN ENGLISH WRITING (ENW) 12 credits, 4 courses
Description The Minor in English Writing covers many forms of writing and will prepare students for careers in writing and communications and will serve as a bridge for students who are interested in pursuing a BA in English. The minor in English Writing offers students a cohesive choice of courses, increased competence in critical reading and writing, and an in depth study of the writing process.
Take ENGL 210 and any three of the following courses: ENGL 301, 302, 303, 304, 306, 310, 311, 312, 313, 362.
MINOR IN ENGLISH LITERATURE (ENL) 12 credits, 4 courses
Description The Minor in English Literature will provide students with an opportunity to read, write about and interpret literary texts, and will serve as a bridge for students who are interested in pursuing a BA in English. The minor in English Literature offers students a cohesive choice of courses, increased competence in critical reading and writing, an in depth study of literature, and/or broadened experiences in this area.
Take ENGL 210 and any three of the following courses: ENGL 315, 316, 319, 320, 322, 323, 325, 326, 327, 328, 330, 331, 332, 360, 361, 363, 365, 366, 370.
