Division of Institutional Advancement -- Medgar Evers College

The Division of Institutional Advancement is a unit within the Office of the President. The Division is responsible for promoting and enhancing the image of the College, for advancing the College's institutional and fundraising agenda, and for disseminating information to a variety of governmental, university and community constituencies, including faculty, staff, students, alumni, community groups, the City University, public officials and educational organizations.

The Division manages and assists with major College events and activities; raises funds from government, corporate, business and foundation sectors and private individuals.

The Division is a service arm which closely collaborates with constituencies and administrative units of the College and with external entities as well. The Division's major offices include: Alumni Relations, Corporate & Foundation Relations, Communications, Development, Web Services, Sponsored Research, College Relations, Development, Government Relations, The Television and Radio Studio, and The Male Development and Empowerment Center.
