The Government & Community Relations Office is the College's liaison to federal, state and city governmental bodies. It monitors policy, legislative and budgetary proposals which impact upon the College; and communicates the College's policy, legislatives and budgetary priorities to appropriate officials. The Office coordinates MEC participation in governmental activities such as public hearings, conferences and meetings; works closely with CUNY's Office of Government Relations and conveys their directives to the MEC administration, leadership and constituencies.
The office oversees the Television and Radio Studio and Media Services.
