Calling all filmmakers and performers to the second toughest stage, (next to the Apollo), in all of New York.......

Going strong since 2001,
The Medgar Evers College Film & Culture Series, Founders Auditorium.

Bill Cosby challenged the audience to look at ourselves, because our ancestors worked too long and too hard.
Charles Dutton expressed the necessity of building our community collectively and dreamed of major studios controlled by people of color. Haile Germia told us to build on the power of our noble history.

The characters of Kayhan Irani made us know their experience. Danny Glover spoke of the images we must create, M-1 spoke truth to power, Talib Kweli discussed the role of the artists, Buckshot got all the Brooklyn love. Flo Brown's rhymes repped Brick City, Jeremy James' music filled the auditorium with love, Abby Dobson hit melodic notes, Karen Gibson Rock's poeticmusic showed us beautiful places, Phyastarter and Oosagyefu's words, power and sounds took us to higher levels, while Harlem 125 had them cracking up.

These are just a few of the people that have graced and rocked the Founders Auditorium stage and if you have what it takes here's your chance to move the crowd!
